About the Photographer

I'm Sarah Lodge.

World traveler, storyteller, and documentary-style photographer with an adventurous spirit.

It's so nice to meet you! I was born and raised in New Jersey (a.k.a. I didn't pump my own gas until I moved to Connecticut 12 years ago)! Fueled by caffeine, I love discovering adorable coffee shops, supporting farm-to-table restaurants, and traveling anywhere and everywhere.

Although I love exploring quaint towns across New England, I spend most days with my daughter, two labradoodles, and three cats! They take up most of my camera roll because they are just so darn cute.

I love taking the dogs for outdoor adventures, unplugging, and enjoying the little things. Being present and soaking in the moment is everything to me. There is nothing like snuggling by a campfire, making s'mores, or enjoying a good book!

Behind the Lens

Founded with a love for people, stories, and new adventures.

From an early age, I wanted to connect with people. First through polaroids, then through learning different languages to communicate. I have Deaf family members so American sign language became an integral part of my daily life. I grew a huge love for languages and world culture! I learned Spanish, French, and German while exploring other countries and cultures. I studied Deaf education in college and originally planned to be a Deaf education teacher!

I'm very Irish — pale, freckles, red hair tints and all! My maiden name is Moran, and if you say that in Ireland, they can tell you exactly where my ancestors are from. 🇮🇪 I am super proud of my heritage and dream of getting dual citizenship, moving to Ireland and living a quaint life on a goat farm in my retirement years!

After moving to Connecticut on a whim, I knew I'd found my home. From the quaint towns to the serene New England vibes, it was the start of a new chapter. I quit my job, took the leap, and decided to follow my passion for photography. The rest, as they say, is history!
